Utz Quality Foods, Inc.

For decades, Utz was known to those in Maryland and Pennsylvania as the snack food of choice. People loved Utz potato chips and pretzels, and were incredibly loyal to the brand. So Utz management figured if they loved them locally, they'd love them regionally too.

Utz hired MGH to help sell the brand up and down the East Coast, including in the tough and fickle New York and Boston markets. We created outdoor boards that not-so-subtly kissed up to Yankees fans, made television commercials conveying people's "lust" for the brand, and we even designed most of the packaging.

The campaign, and the chips themselves, were a hit. Utz quickly rose to be among the top three potato chip brands in both New York and Boston. And in its home base of Pennsylvania, Utz strengthened its already strong hold on the market.
