Visit Baltimore

Visit Baltimore sought MGH's help in redesigning the Baltimore.org Web site to leverage new online trends. The Web site - which targets meeting planners, tour operators, individual tourists and media — needed to not just be engaging and educational, but also highly functional.

To help meet these objectives, MGH developed a custom content management system that allowed Visit Baltimore site administrators to easily update the site, and we also developed many new tools to allow meeting planners and leisure visitors to better discover everything that Baltimore has to offer. Whether visitors are in town for a couple of days or a couple of hours after a meeting, Baltimore.org tells them what they need to see, do and eat.

In addition, MGH developed a touch-screen friendly version of Baltimore.org, which was deployed on kiosks throughout Baltimore. The Visit Baltimore kiosks come with all of the features of Baltimore.org that a visitor on the street would need, including full-blown Google mapping, the ability to search for activities and accommodations, and printable options including member information, discount coupons and neighborhood maps.

Since its launch, the Web site has received more than 1 million visitors and almost 2,000 travel itineraries have been saved.

Hello, we're MGH! A Baltimore advertising agency, public relations firm, interactive development company, word of mouth agency, guerilla marketing firm, design agency, viral marketing firm, and social media marketing company, all rolled into one. But that takes a while to say. So we simply call what we do "modern marketing." It means being able to employ every available communications medium to sell, promote, and otherwise market our clients. We've been at it since 1995 with great success. Take a look.
