MGH President Andy Malis to be Featured at Top Jewelry Trade Event

Malis to discuss marketing to generations X and Y at 19th Annual JCK Las Vegas event on June 5

BALTIMORE (June 2, 2010) - MGH, an integrated marketing communications agency, today announced that its President, Andy Malis, will present at the 19th annual JCK Las Vegas event on June 5. The jewelry industry's largest trade show in North America, JCK Las Vegas takes place at the Sands Expo & Convention Center at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.

Malis' presentation, "Harness the Age of Engagement: Marketing to Generations X & Y," will discuss why generations X and Y are the target customers for jewelry retailers, as well as how to hone in on their behaviors and attract them to their stores. The one-hour presentation will begin at 11:15 PDT. Malis has more than 25 years of advertising and marketing experience, and is a regular speaker at local and national events and trade shows.

"I am excited to present at this year's JCK event and share my experiences working with jewelers throughout the country and my recommendations to help retailers reach this important younger audience," said Andy Malis, MGH president. "These generations consume media in so many different places, and it's essential for jewelers to implement unique marketing tactics that reach this audience at every touch point."

MGH has been the agency of record for Smyth Jewelers for eight years and has consulted with more than 25 jewelers throughout the country. MGH has won numerous national industry awards for its work in the jewelry industry, including a national Gold ADDY Award on behalf of Smyth Jewelers.

JCK is the largest fine jewelry and watch show in the U.S., attracting every major retailer in the country, as well as international buyers. Last year, more than 17,000 people attended JCK Las Vegas, and attendance at this year's show is expected to increase by 10 percent. The series of JCK events are produced by JCK, and are designed to serve the worldwide jewelry industry by offering the most comprehensive and complete buying and selling opportunities on a business-to-business basis.

Hello, we're MGH! A Baltimore, Maryland advertising agency, public relations firm, interactive development company, word of mouth agency, guerilla marketing firm, design agency, viral marketing firm, and social media marketing company, all rolled into one. It’s like a bunch of agencies, but that takes a while to say. So we simply call what we do "modern marketing." It means being able to employ every available communications medium to sell, promote, and otherwise market our clients. We've been at it since 1995 with great success. Take a look.
