After what seemed like a year (24 whole hours), we finally have the results from our Snapchat On-Demand Geofilter test. Well…sorta. Here they are:
We know that our filter was used 25 times and viewed 922, but have no idea about unique usage or views. Did a single, overly excited employee use our filter 25 times? Or did a Snapchat cyber stalker keep clicking on our snaps? Your guess is as good as mine.
Again, not to be overly critical of Snapchat since the product is brand new, but us marketers love stats. And we have this little problem of having clients who expect “results” from our efforts.
So while the test has been fun and a good learning experience, Snapchat is going to have to make some updates to its results reporting before MGH can recommend to our clients.
